Dave and Roma McCoy Share their Favorite Flavors ~ Inside Mammoth

Inside Mammoth (December 2008) Mammoth founders and icons; Dave and Roma McCoy, share their favorite flavors… and top of the list was always Chef Frederic’s Lakefront at Tamarack Lodge.

As longtime friends of the restaurant, Dave would often swap stories with the chef, joking that he’d never stop riding his “putt, putt” (dirt bike) and Chef agreed, the summertime sport they both loved to offset winter skiing.

Snow or not, the Mammoth founders recognized early on that Lakefront had a certain magic. A true draw to the resort and a ‘ringer’ in its own right, with Chef Frederic, bringing people together after the slopes and well beyond ski season.
